These handy sink strainers from Andrew James help to prevent smelly drains and blocked sinks by stopping the waste from going down your sink’s plug hole in the first place. By catching bits of food or packaging before they find their way into your drainage system, you can also avoid expensive plumber bills in the long run. Compatible with most of the commonly used kitchen sinks, a sink strainer is a great way to keep your kitchen sink clean and free from blockages. When you have finished your washing-up, use the convenient little pin in the middle to lift up a fraction to allow the water to drain out. This central pin also allows you to lift the sink strainer out easily. The waste will then be captured in the strainer, making it easy to remove and dispose of accordingly.

Prevent Blocked Sinks

While catching everything from food debris, noodles and sweetcorn to stray hairs, these kitchen sink strainer also double as a plug to ensure that your sink stays clear of blockages and unwanted smells. Simply press the sink strainer plug down in the centre to close the strainer holes and also form a seal between the rubber ring and plug hole, so you can fill up your sink just like you would with a normal plug.

For Next day delivery: Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next day. Orders placed on a Friday before 12pm will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday and across the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday. Orders placed before 12pm on UK Bank Holidays will be delivered two days later. We will confirm the expected delivery date via email after you place your order.

Next Day Delivery excludes large appliances and bulky items such as the BBQ range. Instead you will be contacted to arrange a delivery slot. If you have ordered a knife set, this is sent via UPS and will require a signature. If this has been ordered with another order, it will be sent separately and only via standard delivery. Your main order will not be affected. Knife Sets are sent via standard delivery.

We are currently unable to offer next day delivery to the Highlands; Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.

We are not currently able to ship to addresses outside UK borders, but keep checking with us as it’s something we want to be able to support our customers with in the future.

Deliveries will take place between 8am and 10pm and in some cases a signature may be required. If nobody is available when your parcel is delivered and there isn't a safe place to leave the parcel, the delivery driver will leave a calling card with instructions on how to rearrange delivery. You can enter delivery instructions when you're placing your order e.g. "leave with neighbour". However, Tower Housewares are not liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen if specific delivery instructions are left for the carrier.
