How Economical is a Slow Cooker?
Slow cooking retains moisture in the food and can turn cheaper and tougher cuts of meat into more tender morsels as part of its economical process. At 200W, this high-quality digital slow cooker has plenty of power to cook delicious meals while only using a fraction of the electricity required by traditional ovens. You can also create healthier meals full of flavour as the cooking process locks in all those vital nutrients.

A slow cooker uses a small amount of wattage continuously, so it is best to factor this into your lifestyle. Think about it, with a slow cooker, you save both time and money as you can be doing other things while your next meal is cooking, and throw everything into one pot to cook together and save energy.

Slow Cooking isn’t Just for Curries & Stews
You can even cook rice in your slow cooker - simply coat the sides and bottom of your slow cooker pot with some butter to prevent sticking, add your desired amount of either white or brown rice, and pour in 4 cups of water. Cover your slow cooker pot and set to a high heat setting, and gently stir your rice during the cooking process.

Slow cookers are safe, low maintenance, and easy to use. All you have to do is throw your ingredients in and switch on to your desired setting, and there you go. You can get on with the rest of your to-do list while cooking your next meal. Please note that it is not advised to leave your slow cooker on while you are out of the house.

Is There a Timer-Delay Function?
Yes - simply use the dial to delay the start time of your slow cooker by up to 12 hours. This is really handy to use while you’re getting on with some household tasks. Also, your cooker features a keep-warm setting so your dinner will be ready for serving whenever you are hungry.

3 Heat Settings
Your programmable digital slow cooker with a timer delay feature lets you choose from 3 different heat settings:

  • High: 95°C
  • Low: 85°C
  • Keep-Warm Function

Cooking information is shown on the digital display so you know exactly how long you have left.
