Each mill is 23cm high and 5.5cm in diameter to provide plenty of room for you to fill it with your favourite seasoning, be that black peppercorns, rock salt or even chilli flakes. Both mills are made from durable stainless steel with a transparent casing for the contents so you can see how much is left.
Choose between coarse and fine grinding by simply turning the dial on the bottom of each grinder. Coarse grains are ideal for flavouring dishes during cooking while the finer grind is ideal for the dining table to season the finished meal.
To refill the grinder simply unscrew the mill and top up the clear container with your seasoning before reassembling the set.
Each salt and pepper electric grinder is powered by 4 x AA rechargeable or single use batteries. This powers the ceramic grinding plates and the bulb in the base that illuminates the seasoning area.
Cleaning your mills is really simple. You can wipe down the outside housing with a soft damp cloth. The grinding mill and chamber can be detached from the main unit and wiped clean. A soft bristled brush can be used to remove any dust from around the grinding blades if you are having difficulty getting a cloth into smaller areas. Allow to dry completely before reassembling.

For the Spice Mix
Make the spice mix by toasting the salt flakes in a hot pan until they start to brown, then mix in a separate bowl with the other spice mix ingredients.
Sprinkle the chicken thighs with a couple of teaspoons of the spice mix. Place them on a baking tray and cook for around 30 minutes at 190C.
When the chicken has cooked, heat up a wok that has been sprayed with some cooking oil.
Add the onions, chilli and peppers and brown them off before adding the chicken thighs.
Add the spice mix a little at a time, tasting so you know when it is hot enough for you.
Cook through for another 3-4 minutes then serve.
