What is a Raclette?
The Raclette is a form of Swiss-inspired cooking that turns dinner parties and family gatherings into a fun event. The main principle is social cooking, with guests seated around the grill and cooking their own combinations of meat, veg, cheese and sauces.
It’s a bit like fondue cooking, but with lots more options.
Versatile Cooking Surfaces
The Andrew James Half and Half Raclette has 3 main cooking areas. The traditional grill or hot plate, made of non-stick metal and ideal for healthy cooking of vegetables such as peppers, onions or even asparagus wrapped in Parma ham for something a little unusual.
2. The stone hot plate is great for searing the surface of meat and fish and locking in all those fabulous favours. Try cooking your steaks on this surface so they simply melt in your mouth.
3. The grill pans sit underneath the hot plates and are used for melting cheese or creating individual side dishes for the guests. All the pans on the Andrew James Raclette are colour-coded so there will be no confusion over dishes.
Dinner and Entertainment
With 3 different ways to cook, and space for up to 8 people, there is no better way to turn your catering into a social event.
Healthy, Hygienic Cooking
The non-stick hot plate is easy to clean and the combination of stone and metal hot plates makes it easier to separate meat and vegetables during the cooking process.
With 1200 watts of power and full thermostatic temperature control, you can adjust the heat to ensure all your food is cooked to perfection.
