Egg’s, egg’s and more egg’s
A very neat and efficient gadget. Self contained and not a saucepan in sight.
Very easy to use. Great price, although the plastic Beaker, the writing should be a different colour so you can see it.
this is the third make of egg cooker I have used, (having worn my other 2 out), and in my opinion it is the best one. Also haven’t tried the steamer yet, but that is a bonus, something the others didn’t have.
Only used it once but worked exactly as claimed.
This product is fantastic. It works beautifully for boiled eggs. It's a shame the poached egg attachment is not coated with teflon, it's hard to make them without them sticking. Otherwise, great product.
Excellent, Quick Delivery.
Love this, so easy to use
All the options you expect from an egg cooker and very accurate egg boiling. At last a perfect soft boiled egg!
I bought this for the egg poacher, it is useless, the poached eggs stick in the tray, the tray is not big enough for an egg, it spills over the side. When its cooked (which is less time than stated) trying to get the egg out of the tray it just breaks. It maybe ok for boiled eggs as i have not tried that. But as a poacher forget it!!
Early days a little more practice and I’m sure it will receive 5 stars
Was amazed when testing this product straight out of the box. I had already worked out how to use it by looking up discussions about its use in reviews. I boiled one egg on its own. Used the water quantity for lightly boiled and it came out very slightly runny, so next use I'd set it to medium and that will surely be perfect. It takes up little room on a dining table which is where I need to use it (the kitchen being a bit far away to have to keep getting up and down) so it went there just fine and quietly got on with the job taking a little longer than boiling in a saucepan of water the conventional way. A 4 minute egg-boil took around 7 minutes. I can adjust to that and it was really like waiting for a 'coddled' egg. Next use I will probably not bother with the piercing with the pin because on thick shelled eggs like Burford Brown or Cotswold Legbar the pin cracked a bigger hole which I wasn't expecting. With the boiler being effectively an egg 'steamer' the heat is slow and so there's less risk of an egg cracking. It will be worth experimenting. Anyhow the results are fine and I was well pleased with this very reasonably priced bit of kit. It's a clever design for sure.
Having used other electric egg boilers over many years, I was interested to see how the Andrew James boiler compared. It well deserves its excellent reputation. No wonder it is considered the best.
Great item Happy customer
