No Electricity Needed

You don’t need any chemicals, electricity, or your microwave, as this handy tray uses the superior heat-conductivity of aluminium to warm up frozen foods more quickly at room temperature than just placing onto a plate or mat in the kitchen. Depending on the food and its thickness, it may take as little as 20 minutes to defrost.

Detachable Drip Tray

A key feature is the detachable drip tray, which conveniently catches any drops of moisture which may form during the deforsting process. The drip tray easily detaches for cleaning and emptying, so it is both convenient and hygienic.

Without the use of chemicals, electricity, or heat, your Andrew James Defrost Tray boasts a natural thawing process when defrosting meat or other foods. There is no loss of nutrients and your food will maintain its original flavour. You can fit 2 standard-sized chicken breasts onto the tray. The thickness of the food may affect the defrost time.

For all orders over £40, you will benefit from either free standard or next day delivery - depending on your requirements.

For Next day delivery: Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next day. Orders placed on a Friday before 12pm will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday and across the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday. Orders placed before 12pm on UK Bank Holidays will be delivered two days later. We will confirm the expected delivery date via email after you place your order.

Next Day Delivery excludes large appliances and bulky items such as the BBQ range. Instead you will be contacted to arrange a delivery slot. If you have ordered a knife set, this is sent via UPS and will require a signature. If this has been ordered with another order, it will be sent separately and only via standard delivery. Your main order will not be affected. Knife Sets are sent via standard delivery.

We are currently unable to offer next day delivery to the Highlands; Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.

We are not currently able to ship to addresses outside UK borders, but keep checking with us as it’s something we want to be able to support our customers with in the future.

Deliveries will take place between 8am and 10pm and in some cases a signature may be required. If nobody is available when your parcel is delivered and there isn't a safe place to leave the parcel, the delivery driver will leave a calling card with instructions on how to rearrange delivery. You can enter delivery instructions when you're placing your order e.g. "leave with neighbour". However, Tower Housewares are not liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen if specific delivery instructions are left for the carrier.

Estimated delivery times all exclude weekends and Bank Holidays. When your order is dispatched from our Distribution Centre, we'll send you an email with your tracking number and a link to our carrier’s website to tell you the current status of your delivery.
