Is whipped cream healthy?

This may sound a bit strange, but we’ve dug in and found that, yes. Whipped Cream can have some health benefits… just in time for whipped cream and strawberries (AKA Wimbledon) season.

Whipped cream is lower in Lactose and is therefore ideal for those with only a small degree of lactose sensitivity.

 

Whipped cream provides a healthy source of fat – but, good fat – as it supports a healthy metabolism. Ideal for burning off with a summer of playing tennis. Or doing somersaults.

 

It provides your body with Vitamin A, which is good news for your eyes, as it allows them to adapt to light changes and reduces the risk of night blindness.

 

Whipped cream can help reduce stress, anxiety and depression by releasing hormones that often create irritability.

 

The protein inside whipped cream is the same protein used in hair care products, keeping hair healthy and helping to prevent damage to the hair.

 

As well as providing many health benefits, a whipped cream dispenser can really make your afternoon tea or garden party and supply a delicious side to a whole host of desserts. Not to mention giving you a fantastic whipped cream cake filling.
