A Bean To Cup Coffee Maker is a filter coffee machine that has an integrated grinder so you can use the freshest coffee beans to make your brew. This particular coffee machine lets you grind up to 200g of beans at a time and, with the 1.5L carafe, you can make plenty of coffee for breakfast plus some extra to put in your travel mug for work! As well as being packed full of features, this filter coffee machine is simple to use and will make a stylish accessory in the kitchen with its stainless steel housing and blue LED display. What’s more, because you’re grinding your own beans you’ll also get that delicious, fresh coffee smell in the house each time you use it.
Your Andrew James Coffee Maker gives you the flexibility to make your coffee just the way you like it. It’s easy to change between a coarse or fine grind for your beans, and you can simply turn the grinder off if you want to use filter coffee every now and then. You can also choose the strength of your coffee from weak through medium to strong.
The glass carafe that comes with this coffee maker will hold 1.5L, which is equivalent to around 12 normal cups of coffee. You can use the jug to fill the water tank in the machine then set it away to make as many cups as you need, from 2 to 12 in 2 cup intervals. Of course, your cups and mugs may be different sizes so the actual number of cups made may vary. We’ve included some average cup sizes in the extra info section as a guide to help you decide how much water you’ll need to add. Because some of the water will evaporate during the coffee making process, it’s best to add a little more water than you will need to fill the cups exactly to compensate for this.
You can programme this coffee machine to start brewing coffee when you want it using the 24 hour timer. So, if you want a fresh cup in the morning to help you wake up, but also want a few extra minutes in bed, that’s not a problem. You could also programme it so it’s ready when you get back from a run (whether that’s jogging or the school run), or have a fresh jug of coffee waiting for you after work. All you have to do is make sure you have enough beans and water in the machine. Don’t worry if you’re delayed. The 30 minute keep warm feature will gently heat the carafe, which is also great if you want to go back for a top up.
This coffee maker machine comes with a reusable plastic filter, so you don’t need to worry about constantly buying and replacing paper filters. How Should I Clean This Machine? Cleaning is really easy. Simply wipe down the outside of the machine with a soft cloth soaked in warm soapy water, then wipe down with clean water and dry. You can clean the funnel and filter in the same bowl and remember to switch the machine off at the wall when you clean the grinder.

The coffee will start to brew at the time you enter into the timer, so start it a few minutes early if you want it ready for a very specific time of the day.
The coffee bean hopper is not recommended for long term storage of beans as they may become damp and start to spoil, which will affect the taste and potentially block the grinder. Its best to only add what you need and remove any unground beans after use.
Some of the water may evaporate or be absorbed by the beans and filter during brewing so we always recommend adding a little more water than you actually need to compensate.
This machine will make 1.5L of coffee which is the equivalent to around 12 standard size cups of coffee.
Each coffee cup or mug will vary so you may want to measure the capacity of your own cups before you start, however, these sizes can act as a guide.
