The advantage of cooking on the stone raclette is that the heat of the stone will sear the outside of the meat, locking in the flavour and taste. Steaks are fantastic cooked on the stone, your guests can cook them to their liking, and the stone makes them so succulent it will simply melt in your mouth.
Seafood and vegetables are also fantastic cooked on the stone. The little pans can be used for grilling anything. A particular favorite of ours is chorizo, raclette cheese and peppers served with garlic buttered new potatoes
There are so many different combinations of food that can be used on the raclette, you just have to use your imagination and try different combinations you will find out what cooks best.
